What to Expect at the Medical Camp

  • All individuals in the camp will receive medical evaluations, and essential medications will be provided free of charge. Furthermore, individuals with vision impairments will be given the appropriate prescription for their spectacles.
  • Patients of asthma, tuberculosis, diabetes, BP etc. should clearly tell the doctor the details of their disease at the time of examination before the operation for their own benefit.
  • Patients chosen for cataract surgery will be transported to and from Mojiram Lions Eye Hospital from the camp, where they will undergo free surgery with standard lenses.
  • On the day of cataract surgery, patients are typically required to present a valid government-issued ID, such as a driver's license or Voter ID card. This is likely for administrative and verification purposes.
